Woman walking to lose weight Exercise is another component in the Self Center Program. Daily Aerobic exercise is the best exercise to help a person lose weight. We recommend walking, riding a stationary bicycle, or walking on a treadmill as the type of exercise for most patients to do on a daily basis.

Your medical problems and level of fitness at your initial medical evaluation will determine the intensity and frequency of the prescribed exercise.

Leave the treadmill behind and hit the trails. City, state, and federal parks are great places to walk.

Whether you are at home or on vacation and nice walk is only a short distance away.
